“BAUHAUS WEAVE CHAIR”
CHAIR X ALBERS
A chair with a simple yet elegant frame made of metal or wood, with a seat and backrest crafted using textile materials and modern weaving techniques. The seat and backrest would be a combination of different geometric shapes and patterns, using various textures and colors. With tightly woven threads creating a sturdy and comfortable surface to sit on. The frame would be clean and modern, with sleek lines and a minimalist aesthetic, using cantilevered construction or tubular metal. The chair would be a timeless piece that seamlessly blends form and function.
IT ALLOWS FOR A STREAMLINED, MINIMALISTIC DESIGN WITHOUT THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL SUPPORT STRUCTURES.
THE COLORS USED MAY BE BRIGHT AND BOLD, OR MORE SUBDUED AND NEUTRAL, WITH DIFFERENT COLORS BEING USED TO HIGHLIGHT SPECIFIC SHAPES OR PATTERNS IN THE CHAIR.
IN THE CHAIR, THESE PATTERNS MAY BE USED IN A VARIETY OF WAYS, SUCH AS A REPEATING PATTERN ACROSS THE ENTIRE SURFACE OF THE SEAT AND BACKREST, OR AS A MORE SUBTLE DETAIL AROUND THE EDGES.
THE SHAPES AND PATTERNS COULD ALSO BE USED TO CREATE A SENSE OF DEPTH AND TEXTURE, WITH SOME AREAS BEING MORE TIGHTLY WOVEN THAN OTHERS TO CREATE A CONTRAST IN TEXTURE.
