THE UTILITYMAN

The Action Figure designed by Henry Van Der Velde for the new emerging society in Germany is a unique combination of human body parts and everyday functional objects. It has a rectangular metal body resembling a toolbox or cabinet, with wooden legs and jointed hips, allowing for a wide range of movement. The figure's head is modeled after a lamp with a flexible neck that can be adjusted in various directions. Its arms are made of metal cylinders, and the hands are shaped like small, adjustable clamps. This figure's name could be "The Utilityman" or "The Handyman" or could be named after its designer, Henry Van Der Velde.
