BODY X VAN DER VELDE
The Action Figure designed by Henry Van Der Velde for the new emerging society in Germany is a unique combination of human body parts and everyday functional objects. It has a rectangular metal body resembling a toolbox or cabinet, with wooden legs and jointed hips, allowing for a wide range of movement. The figure's head is modeled after a lamp with a flexible neck that can be adjusted in various directions. Its arms are made of metal cylinders, and the hands are shaped like small, adjustable clamps.
THE FIGURE'S HEAD IS MODELED AFTER A LAMP, WITH A SMOOTH, WHITE CERAMIC BASE AND A LONG, FLEXIBLE NECK.
THE HANDS OF THE FIGURE ARE SHAPED LIKE SMALL, ADJUSTABLE CLAMPS, ALLOWING THE FIGURE TO GRIP OBJECTS WITH PRECISION AND EASE.
THE ACTION FIGURE DESIGNED BY HENRY VAN DER VELDE FOR THE NEW EMERGING SOCIETY IN GERMANY IS A UNIQUE COMBINATION OF HUMAN BODY PARTS AND EVERYDAY FUNCTIONAL OBJECTS.
THE FIGURE'S ARMS ARE EACH COMPRISED OF A SERIES OF STACKED, METAL CYLINDERS, GIVING THE APPEARANCE OF A STACK OF STORAGE CONTAINERS.
