“TECHNILOGICAL DUET”
FULLER X BODY
A dance that utilizes movement patterns and illusions to push the limits of the human form through textile and light, inspired by the work of Loie Fuller. The dance involves four chairs and four dancers, with each dancer representing a different part of the human body. The dancers move in a way that creates the illusion of the human body becoming untethered from its physical form. The dance could be called "Illuminated Limbs" or "Textile Forms", reflecting the interplay between the human form, light, and textiles.
HER BODY CONTORTS AND TWISTS IN WAYS THAT SEEM ALMOST ROBOTIC, YET THERE IS A SENSE OF ARTISTRY AND EXPRESSION IN HER MOVEMENTS THAT TRANSCENDS MERE MECHANIZATION.
THE MOVEMENTS ARE INTENSE, AS IF TO EXPRESS THE TENSION OF MECHANIZATION AND HUMAN EXPRESSION. THE FABRIC SWIRLS AROUND IN A FRENETIC FRENZY, ILLUMINATED BY DAZZLING LIGHTS SPECTACLE.
FULLER'S DANCE IS A FUSION OF MOVEMENT, LIGHT, AND FABRIC, CREATING A DYNAMIC AND OTHERWORLDLY SPECTACLE ON STAGE.
THE DANCE BEGINS WITH FULLER MOVING GRACEFULLY ACROSS THE STAGE, DRESSED IN A FLOWING COSTUME MADE OF DIAPHANOUS FABRICS THAT BILLOW AND SWIRL AROUND HER BODY.
